Our research activity is based around:
- Formatting-choice of materials (powder architecture, dispersion…)
- Microstructural characterisation (in-situ, immediate…)
- The material’s perfomance (mainly mechanical, in-situ testing and/or coupled mechanical tests in the tomograph, mechanical loading/sintering using SEM or TEM, mechanical, chemical and/or thermal loading coupled together and acoustic emissions tests.
- Modelling (analytical and digital: damage, subcritical crack propagation, mechanical behaviour etc.).
